What do you think about upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda?
The thing with ME: Andromeda is, that it's a giant plothole.
It has been established. that the Reapers destroy all intelligent life in the galaxy from time to time, which means no species could become advanced enough. However this was not the case in the Andromeda Galaxy. There every specie should be highly advanced, since there was no mass extinction periodically.

You are right, but the reapers (in their twisted way of "thinking") stopped the organics from destroying each other. So the cycles of extinctions could be a little different, but could still exist. Also the reapers did not left Citadel, Mass Relays etc. behind to speed up the advancement and the life could have just started later or the previous advanced life could have been destroyed by some galaxy wide dissaster. Anyway, i hope that Bioware will try to cover this plothole and to be honest I don't believe one bit, that Andromeda will be totally free of reapers.. :)

I am doubtful that would be the case. Just look at the last species, the ones that went extinct before. They created a vast empire, practically enslaving every other race, and according to Javik, they were doing pretty great, right before the Reapers arrived.

Javik is great and surprisingly funny.. :) Yes, what you say is logical. I was just saying that they have plenty of ways to try to cover that plothole.. I am gussing Andromeda would be like ME1 and you will eventually discover, that reapers are there as well (why wouldn't they, if humas can send sleeper ships to Andromeda, for reaper that would be a trivial thing). There is a potential in the story - since the cycles are not in sync and happen in different times in Milky Way and Andromeda, the organics of both galaxies could at least warn each others. (Since guys from Andromeda initiative don't know the outcome of ME3). By the way did they make some of the ending canon?

No, apparently they went with saying ME3 takes hundreds of years before ME:A and in the same universe.
I really hope, Reapers won't be brought up again, I disliked the ending of ME:3, mostly because of how they handled the choices. Reapers were a threat for the first three games, and this time, they should come up with something new. The reapers were good villains, but they served their purpose. We learned the philosophy behind them, their origin and their creators as well...

Waiting till I have cought on with the franchise
I spent way too much time playing ME3 coop and still haven't played the original Trilogy yet so I'll stay clear from Andromeda for now :D

ME3 multiplayer was surprisingly fun.. Hope you have time for original Trilogy, with mods it still looks nice :)

I'm between "waiting for reviews" and "waiting for discount" I ALWAYS wait for reviews so I don't get burned from pre-ordering and I usually never buy AAA in full price, I wait for sales and buy them when they're couple years old. This is probably going to happen with ME:A as well.

In my two years on this site, I've met some great people, discovered some new games (and movies, books, etc.) and I have been very lucky and won some awesome games.
