This is why I hate not having a CC.

The front audio signals (that is front, front right and front left) are quite precise, but the back sources sound off somehow, i'm not sure if that's a limitation of the software itself (which could very well be), or just a sign of the software being in Beta still, that, and i have sound crackle with some games and Skype, which is a shame.

I'll try it again when the new motherboard arrives (if i see it necessary).

If you want to have better audio for your PC, you buy a separate sound card like Asus Xonar.

again, it's just a software DSP effect, so expect 20ms or larger delay in sound. Not good for games that needs audio precision.

Virtual surround is terrible.

This amounts to a bad EQ basically if anyones curious, go ahead but yeah...don't expect anything good from it, especially if you own decent headphones.

This would have been really awesome in 1997.
