Steam making me mad boar

Because of thecnical issues, a trade that would give me an cool unusual for a bud over mine dropped, and the guy was gone forever, as the trade, in the exact milisecond the new update came.

Today, i tried to trade tf2 items for games, did the trade, didn't work, did again, didn't work again, but guess what : the metal is gone! No games for me, lost metals, and a cool unusual.
