At my current job i was supposed to do easy work till the 2th, to focus on my health, but with some offers i asked my chef what other tasks i could be doing again, but then he said higher ups are deciding the flexworkers (including me) weren't flex enough as we been working our steady days for a few months now, while they want to get more youngsters for the holidays (it would already take time to instruct them things while they stay a small time) so the ones who already learned stuff there and need the money more will be staying home more.

I cancelled a try out on a good job offer because atm i think the added travel would really be bad for my health, my heart is okay, bloodpressure and sugar is okay, now i am going to try and get my lungs checked.
But i have a second interview (first i talked with the boss, who is now on vacation for 2 weeks, and then the chef had a day off, and now i'd be talking with the chef) at a small warehousing job in my hometown.

Yesterday when i went to work i almost ran over a toad on the biking path with my bike, i thought if i don't someone else would, but i am not going to touch it with my bare hands, so first tried stomping my foot near it, but it wouldn't move, luckily i found two sticks and moved it aside.
Like i had ladybugs in my room, a few weeks ago, one kept walking circles on my closed soda can at work.
Now i like my spiritually, and the totem meaning for it is, i should make a decision that i am capable of but think i can't (which made me think of that travel job) or good fortune is coming. :p Now today at that spot lies a feather (which is usually also a good sign).

Having grown up with these old games i was very happy with this bundle, almost wanted to buy a few on summer sale. :)

Toads, they don't really move away from danger. I remember this place I went on vacations once where there were plenty of toads in the street and a bunch of them ended crushed by cars because they simply didn't bother to move out of the way. I heard on the internet (take with a grain of salt) that you can boil them alive and they won't try to save themselves, quite an odd creature, basically a frog without the cuteness.

Maybe they have bad hearing or sight, or just lazy.
What i do know with daylight savings they tend to get hit more by cars (why there are groups of volunteers helping the toads cross over).

The thing is, now that I think about it, my city has plenty of toads living near the river and other courses of water but I've never seen them being run over. Different type of toad maybe?

Nowadays boiling a frog is usually used as a metaphor. It's not scientifically true ;)

I supposed that might be the case but was feeling too lazy to check and you never know when reality is weirder than expected. Thanks for the clarification :)

That really made me laugh.

Sorry you've been having such a tough time work-wise. I know first-hand how rough it is when health gets in the way of what you want to do. Hope the signs mean something good is coming your way. I saw a wild hare two days ago that wouldn't move, even when we moved our car out slowly, but I think bunnies are definitely prone to freezing up...

Hope good luck comes your way!

Thank you and i wish you some good luck too!

Always thought bunnies/hares tend to be really feisty, my sister had 2 and i tried to have one in my hands, i quickly gave it back. :p

Not as bad as these though.

Thanks! Goats are so cute, but...well yeah, they're straight up crazy. They love to headbutt and will eat anything. I think for wild hares it's natural to freeze when they see what they think is a 'predator', but I don't know that much about hares, so I could be wrong!
