How do you most want HL3 to be announced?

It can only be released by the unlocking of a crate that contains the first copy of HL3.

Once it is open, it is released to the world for a nice price of 20 dollars.

I'm not taking credit at all for this, but it's worth a read.

There is a new DLC for portal, called back in time. You play as a test subject in the beginning of Portal and Aperture science and from the shadows you see him, you see G-MAN and Gordon freeman after him.

I'm one of the few people out there I guess who doesn't see what the hype is with Half Life, looks kind of 'meh'. So I don't want an announcement unless it comes with a reveal for Portal 3.

I wake up. I go downstairs to make breakfast. I look through the window. It's so dark. I see a guy in a blueish suit and a briefcase looking at me. He says: Prepare for unforeseen consequences Mr. Michaels. and then doors appear. He walks out and doors fade out. It's not dark anymore, everything's normal. I'm scared and excited at the same time. My heart beats so hard.

i rather it to be announced as HL2.9 or HL4 with complete skip of the name "3" it will be hilarious.

I want Gabe to just walk on stage and say, "Look, I know you want me to confirm HL3. However, you guys have been doing my work for me on the internet for a while. So, yeah. HL3 confirmed. Not that you didn't already know that." Then he just walks away.
