Hitman 3 - Epic exclusive

Looks interesting. I'll probably get it though I never played the 2nd one

I want to get angry about the whole exclusive thing, but I just can't, since the reality is I probably wouldn't buy for at least a year anyway. I'll just work on that backlog instead.

Wanted to transfer the hitman 1& 2 goty to the 3 one, now need to wait an extra year.

I can wait. :)

What a shame. I want nothing to do with Epic. Trying to force exclusive games on the pc is the absolute worst thing for the consumers.

To answer people's question why so many people hate Epic.

I will wait 1 year.

I'll either wait a year for the Steam release or buy it on Playstation if I end up not wanting to wait. I only use Epic for the free games. I was interested in the John Wick Hex game on the Epic store, but it also came on PS4 so I bought it there.

I'll wait for 1 year and even more, for that nice discount.

Exclusives suck. They are bad, doesn't matter WHO does it. However, I haven't spent anywhere near "full price" on a video-game in 10 years. Thanks for Steam. So most games I'm way behind on anyway... so this doesn't affect me. It shouldn't affect you either. If it bothers you so much, maybe try to find something to focus on that is positive?

I would like to see how the actual sale will go. I suppose Epic has gotten a rather big player base.. But I would like to see actual numbers instead of "performed really well" or "outselled its competitors" or some bullshit along those lines to wiggle out of showing actual sale numbers.
I suppose IO Interactive wont care one bit as they have gotten their money already. I just hope it doesnt bode ill to gamers, as devs dont need to improve the game or give new content. as they dont need to get actual players as Epic is still throwing money left and right.

Because of these exculive things I reject to create an accoutn. I won't create one even if they would give all the games for free.
