why can't people read the rules? or accept they made a mistake and say sorry instead of blaming it on a "friend"

Not sure how he would benefit from lying, probably just a shit friend.

I once made a mistake too, then I took an arrow to the knee.

You thought you'll get Battlefield 3 by opening a giveaway. Then you realised what is this website about and maybe that's where you read the rules. Now you're finding some lame excuse not to get banned.

yeahr, thats what friends doing - they make lotteries if you leave steam open.

so somehow he logged into steamgifts, using steam's site. When you where logged into the client. He knew your password and he created a giveaway. RIGHT.

At least edit your giveaway description and ask people NOT to enter. Don't know how many are gonna read but at least remove that "Good Luck all~".

Personally I like to think that somewhere I have friends plotting devious ways to mess with my steam account, its how you know they care after all.

Here's how you can solve this issue.
1) Beat up "friend".
2) Steal his dosh.
3) Buy the game for the winner.
