All D&D based Infinity Engine games (but my favourite of them is definitely Planescape: Torment)

Minecraft. It can be any single setting you make it to. You can do nearly everything, where it lacks there are countless mods. And the plugins are almost upon us to make modding less of a traumatic experience. WH40k / Fallout / anything sandbox - here I come! :O
Other that this, it's between F1, F2, FNV and perhaps Deus Ex. Oh. And Jagged Alliance 2 v1.13 !

No mention of Shadow of the Colossus? Now there is.

That's probably the one game that I've been dying to play. I can already see it being in my top 5-10 of games.

I really liked that game but the story was bland as fuck... I mean... save your girlfriend by killing giant monsters/gods that you absorb into yourself.. I think I know how that is going to end.
It had some nice design and was reminiscent of Ico in some ways, and the graphics were great for being Ps2 but it just fell too short in story. It is up there in my list but its definitely not a all time favorite.

I forgot all about Ico too..
I need to get myself a PS again. There's so many other games I've missed out on.

I still play it sometimes. It's a shame they don't make another game like the first one. I checked the review for the game, turns out that it was criticized for being a digimon trainer simulator and was given only an okay score. I guess only digimon fans will love it. :-/

Alan Wake
The best story-telling I've ever seen, it's just too awesome

I really like Guitar Hero! Just kidding, I was raised playing Pokémon and played until the 4th generation. It really isn't the best game ever, but I feel very happy playing them.

Mines Bastion because it tells a story like no other game and all the mechanics seem perfectly inline with the story.
