Elder Scrolls Online will cost $60 for purchase + $15 each month? FFFUUUU..!!!

..UUUCK!

This looks like just about the only MMO I was interested in why do they have to be so friggin greedy?

MMOs should either have a one time purchase fee like guild wars, or have a subscription base fee, why both?

Will you buy it at this price? I don't think I will simply because this WoW payment module is pissing me off.

Anyone played the beta? Does it actually resemble skyrim and such gameplay wise?

TL;DR - Elder Scrolls Online will cost $60 to buy, plus $15 every month and will have microtransactions aswell.
Plus this whole 'Imperial edition' day one race DLC bullcrap, guh!

to me will costs nothing cuz it will remain in store!! no way in pay a monthly fee for a game anymore...and this will be F2P in a year...as all the others

I started playing today, it's really interesting and I love the franchise but there is no way I'm buying this. I think it's going to be a great game and I'm sure it would give me lots of time of entertainment but it all just costs too much. It feels like you have to buy the imperial edition as well because the stuff you get with that is just so fucking awesome.

It will fail. There is nothing short of rewriting the entire game that can save that beta. I've seen browser games with more depth.

Tried beta:

boring quest, the loot mechanics sucks ass. Sure the environment is better on some mmos, but the graphics still sucks ass compared to aion or RF Online. Lame enemy designs, no challenge at all for an action based mmo OMG!

I'm sorry, this is not worth my money. Old MMOs that I'be played is still better and much deeper than this game.

Yes the combat is really boring sadly, and the quests a bit bland. It feels like online morrowind hehe..graphics wise atleast.

Just a quick question if anyone doesn't mind, does ESO contain lots of quests to do? I personally like doing every quest in MMOs instead of grinding mobs and dungeons to level up. Also how interesting are those quests if so? Thanks :)

It has a decent amount of quests. It does feel a lil bit like morrowind in that sense. When it comes to questing, it feels like theyre trying to force a single player play system into an MMO, which in this praticular case isn't too bad since I prefer the questing system that way. There's fighters guilds and mages guilds and such aswell.

Well its not horrible per say. The gameplay does remind me of Morrowind but it does feel like theyre really forcing the MMO thing. The combat is meh though..

I played the Beta and not worth to get. I will wait for Xbox special of $10 and when the subscription is free ;) I wait 15min just for the loading screen, and then when the game bomb out, then another 15 for loading.

Well the loading time is expected during beta. But the gameplay itself is the main problem I think, which isnt just a beta thing.
