I really don't see the point here: if you've played a game you retroactively get cards once they're added. Achievements are what needs notification.

This is referring to the fact that there are many games on the Steam store which have trading cards, but they are not listed as a feature on the store page. In those cases, you'll only know it has cards when you buy the game.

Not sure but I think that Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix did as I got a card today and I haven't played that sice last year.
