I noticed that with a giveaway earlier, so unless suspended users manage to enter, there might be a glitch.

This is really odd. It's my first private giveaway, so I don't know if this is a common issue. But just in case, I've taken a screenshot of that as proof, in case of something (not) funny happens if an uninvited winner is chosen.
Anyway, I will check tomorrow if that was fixed, right now is too late and I'm already half-zzzleep... (:P)

That's exactly what my giveaway is, a private giveaway for two very small groups.
Thanks for the replies. It seems it's a glitch, since they are 6 people in the list of entries, but the number keeps telling that there are 8 entries so far.

I've made a private giveaway and invited some few friends, and so far, 6 have entered (that's correct). But in the page of entries of the giveaway it says there are 8 entries, even though you can count 6 people in that list. Is this a glitch, or what? (o_O)
