I wonder why they don't allow you to say something along your friend requests in steam. Everywhere else you'd introduce yourself or state a reason for that request, in steam you need to be accepted as a friend before... That's so awkward...

I kind of decided that all my communication with members of this site can be accomplished through the Steam group... so sorry to anyone who disappeared from my friends list. It wasn't meant to be harsh, it just got annoying having 5 IM messages (one usually asking me to buy them a game) pop up instantly every time I turned on my PC. I'm still open to IMing (it can be done through the group right?), I just don't want to extend my friends list all that much.

Maybe ignore was not intentional. One time someone was trying to send me something but it he kept getting a "user is ignoring you" message, even though I was online at the time and talking to him in a group chat. I had to PM him first in order to accept.
