So I'm using a VEON monitor while I'm away for the week via HMDI cable and the recommended resolution is 1360 x 768 which is fine, everything fits and looks okay but some of the littler things seem way fuzzier / oddly colored than normal i've tried to adjust the DPI and have gone through clear text / color calibration wizards with no success does anyone have a tip or two to help point me in the right direction or should I just deal with it? Oh and if you're still reading this crap then I wanna know if you enjoy peeling potatoes?

Sigh it probably looks like nothing to you guys but its really noticeable especially when I'm turning and everything seems off like it leaves behind a color trail. There is no issue like this on my monitor at home.

Edit: There's also another weird thing. I can't see the highlight color in the right click menu for say cut, copy, paste, save as, etc.

Could be a panel with a really high response rate. That is the most obvious reason for seeing "trails" with fast motion. The resolution also kinda indicates an office monitor, which are usually not made to display motion.

I had this same problem too, and turning down the response rate to "normal" fixed it for me.

How do you turn that down?

It's a monitor setting, so there should be a button on the monitor where you can get to the monitor settings

Just quickly googling VEON monitors, they have an extremely high response time (in the neighborhood of 25ms), which would cause the ghosting like talgaby said above. They're not made for gaming, and appear to be low end office equipment, which would also explain why the color and clarity aren't gaming-grade quality.

Bumpity!
Screenshot looks fine.. It seems a monitor problem... Why don't you try using something else on the same monitor like a console or a dvd player and see if the colors are right?
You can also try to switch the pc video output to VGA or anything else to see if it's only an hdmi problem... old videocards had a lot of problems with hdmi...

thank you... problem isolation isn't really an option right now was just trying to play with settings and see if i could fix it, i've got it ALMOST bearable but there's just some stuff i notice that peeves me off and makes gaming harder, especially in siege because my long range vision especially in dark spots is taking a hard hit from this shitty monitor. guess ill just wait it out :D

every monitor should have its own menu buttons to adjust hdmi color range /
contrast / colors / sharpness - play around with that and you'll fix it eventually

if thats not it it could be shitty old drivers ... like NVidia GPU's displaying in abysmal
faded colors to fix that google NVidia color fix or Nvidia washed out colors something ... you'll find it

thanks. adjusting the display options almost got it looking good. main problem is certain small images with bright colors look really odd and slightly fuzzy and ingame split second trails left behind after motion.
