Steam publisher Qumaron has revoked Steam keys for their game Demigods, and has also removed the game depots, rendering the game entirely unplayable for purchasers.

Thieves. Valve should have taken a hard-line stance on this sort of thing years ago; banning any developer/publisher that purposely tries to defraud their customers like this.

Again I don't understand publishers/developers doing this. They have the option of "delisting" the game page if they can't sell it or don't want to maintain it anymore, but intentionally sabotage a game for existing customers should be a punishable/bannable action...

pretty sure intentionally making the game unplayable(outside of servers getting shutdown) is against Valve's TOS.

It's clear sabotage in this case (0 bytes to download):

UPDATE: Steam have actioned on the game and have reinstated the last public build, meaning the game is playable again.

Keys are currently however still revoked.

Hmm?

Little update, Valve have intervened and have reinstated the most recent public build of the game. The game still doesn't launch properly though due to the app configuration looking for a "Demigods.exe_removed" file which doesn't exist.

Just another clueless publisher monkeying around with stuff in the back end that they have no real idea what they are doing. "Remove this game from Steam" should be a flag that publishers can check so a REAL employee of Valve can do it properly,

Time to press the big, blue "Ignore" button on each of their game.
