I've never made a puzzle before, or ever really attempted other peoples, so I don't know if this is a typical puzzle.

It's one of those ones were the little things make a big difference, if you guess/understand them you will do really well.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. The giveaway ends in 4 days so you have some time.
