Hiya! Unsure of whether I've requested to join in the past but I'm assuming I have as I made a BLAEO profile.
I'd like to reapply to join the group! :)
Full disclosure: I'm pretty sure my last application was denied on the basis of my BLAEO having major traces of achievement editing, which I quite obviously did use a few years ago. Since then I've played and beaten many games for both myself and also for different challenge groups on SG (TalePlay, PAGYWOSG) which I've been enjoying quite alot these past few months. I can and am willing to do whatever is needed to personally guarantee that I won't cheese the requirements I.e post screenshots etc. :D

Hello! I'd been a bit interested since last year (found out about PoP from PAGYWOSG) but was a bit hesitant since I didn't fully understand the rules at the time so it felt daunting. Re-read them recently and realized it actually seems pretty doable so I'd like to join the group if possible and join the next cycle. :)

I requested to join BLAEO a couple days ago but looks like the person adding people is very rarely on this site.. I would really love to join this group though, it sounds like a fantastic idea!! I really need to actually finish games I start playing as too often I hop off of them and then just forget to go back, even if I was really enjoying it!
Figured I'd leave a comment so I remember about this group even if I can't join until that BLAEO person comes around. Or on the off-chance I can be added while I wait to be added to BLAEO :)

For what it's worth, we're now in the middle of Jan-Feb-Mar cycle, so if you're added now you'd only have a bit over a month to participate in this cycle (and beat the picked games). So you might consider joining for the next cycle and thus being in no rush for now...

In the meantime you could make sure you have 10% of your wins beaten already - if that isn't the case yet :3

I honestly have no idea if I have 10% of wins beaten or not. One of them is also battlefield 1 which.... doesn't really have a "beat" xD I have absolutely smashed the 40 games played bit though - got more than 40 perfect games on steam lmao.
But that's fine though, I'll just keep waiting and hope they remember about this site again lol

honestly I just looked through my wins, I didn't realise I'd gotten so many bangers from when I was younger on here lmao. I thought dumbass younger me only won shovelware xD Currently playing through Tacoma - it's been on my list for a while, just entirely forgot I actually own it!
I think puzzle agent I was waiting to try and pick up the first one before playing the second, but that's not happened in the years since winning it so I'll just hope you can play 2 without playing 1 lol

After a quick google the internet seems entirely split on puzzle agent lmao. Half the internet says they're standalone and you don't need to play the first one at all, and the other half says you won't understand a single thing in 2 without playing 1 and it continues directly after the ending of 1 😂

lol never mind. Seems like tacoma is actually unplayable sadly. Just tried to save and quit, game rapidly climbed up to using 22GB out of my 32... at 99%..... and I'm pretty sure me killing the game has killed my save now. Looking at some other people's reports, it seems like any time the game reads/loads from disk, it has a high chance to just freeze up and eat all your RAM.

In the meantime you can already create some lists, that'll make the start smoother. (short = 2-8h, medium = 8-15h, long = 15-25h, very long = 25h+)

FAQ
Q: Do I have to play 7 games every cycle?
A: NO! The more the merrier, but just finishing two is enough to complete the "challenge"!
Q: Do I have to participate every cycle?
A: No. You can take a break whenever you want, just don't sign up before the next picking phase starts. However, you must participate in at least, 2 out of 4 cycles in a year.
Q: Why is BLAEO mandatory?
A: It makes picking a LOT easier. As you can see here
Q: Why do I need to have played at least 10% of my wins OR a total of 40 games played?
A: We must see that you're serious into playing your games, not just joining because of GAs.
Our group was inspired by both the old PoP events at Quips/Beardtopia.
