1. I'd like to see large-scale nuclear power based on molten salt media with direct on-site chemical processing of the waste. Nearly limitless energy without ecological impact will solve most of humanities near-term problems.
2. I'd like to see genetic engineering on a large scale to solve world hunger while still preserving most of the planet as natural habitats
3. I'd like to see a post-scarcity society in which everyone can get what they need (materially and socially) without too much work, so that humanity's full potential in the sciences and arts can develop.
4. I'd like to see all of humanity work unitedly towards this goal without the need for political drama and overly national bigotry.
5. I'd like to see social tolerance for all traits of life - be it religious, sexual, or otherwise
6. Genetically enhanced Furries i.e. anthropomorphic animals with human level intelligence and beyond - werewolves, werefoxes, weretigers, wereotters, minotaurs and all other kinds.

Hmm, something that makes it easier (and cheaper) to diagnose animals. I adopt shelter cats, and often they have issues that is hard for veterinarians to find. Took ages to find out that the latest cat had anxiety and stress cystitis.

Being able to completely erase things from our memories (and I mean completely, not like hiding or tucking it away) would be nice. There are pains in life that are just unbearable, and every time these pains come back, it ruins our day, our sleep, our thoughts... so just get rid of this trash. Pain shouldn't be romanticized. There's no lesson to be learned, no grand scheme of knowledge or self-improvement. Just take this shit out and allow us some peace, at least inside our heads.

I recently thought about that myself. Everyone who works hard is doing it so they can eventually live a comfy life. Those who are rich don't tend to raise hard working children, and those children often are incapable of handling any difficult, or stressful takes. So it seems to be human nature that we all just want an easy life in the end as goal. So technologically speaking for the sake of benefitting everyone... I'm hoping mechanical upgrades to bodies, DNA alterations that promote muscle and health, PC's like Chobits where they do tasks we need, or just a full on dive world like Accel World/Sword Art Online where people can go, and not have to expend real energy to do things they desire. I feel like our world needs a breakthrough right now that changes it for the better.

Having cheap machine that can give you balanced meal for pennies. Crash for fast food industry but it would keep many people from starving.

Self-driving affordable taxis that would eliminate the need for personal cars and public transport eliminating poorly maintained cars from roads and eliminating congestion and parking issues.
