Description

IndieGala bonus key. Set to USA-only because that site is weird with region locks.

Feedback of your winner has been changed to Not Received as they have provided evidence of you delivering a different title than the one your giveaway advertises, after they had been suspended.
Instead of delivering https://steamdb.info/app/763970/ as advertised, you gifted them https://steamdb.info/app/231910/.

Mix ups can be easily avoided by searching for the App ID on the New page rather than the title. Furthermore, when creating the giveaway you get displayed a secondary page where you can check all settings, before actually creating the giveaway. This is where you should've noticed the issue.

Have a nice day.

That was three months ago!

I got the key from Indie Gala, they did not mention it being the reloaded edition, I thought it was what it said in the description. Will update with more info later.

I just rechecked the IndieGala order page. The title listed for the key is the same as the one I selected. So IndieGala gave me a mislabeled key, and I offered it as a giveaway assuming the title I was given was accurate. How do we resolve this?

This is something you need to work out with Indiegala (this was and still is a problem for many users) and most importantly, your winner, who was suspended over this mixup. You can attempt to reach out to them by commenting on one of their own giveaways to talk this one out with them.

Wait, the winner was suspended because the key didn't match? Even though the winner has no control over which key they're given, and the two games are easy to confuse? With no option to report the problem until three months later?

I don't mark a key as received until I've activated it and verified that it works, but in this specific case the two game titles are so similar it's not obvious it's wrong.

That was already mentioned in the original comment, yes. The onus of holding the giveaway creator responsible for not delivering the correct gift is on the winner. The rules explicitly state that Received feedback should only be given when the correct gift was received.
The titles are not easy to confuse if you look at the actual title, where one says "Remastered" and the other doesn't, or their App IDs which is completely different, or if one simply visits the Steam store page from the giveaway itself where after activating the correct title says "Owned since" on a big green bar that is missing if the game has not been purchased or activated from a key (gift). In short, it actually is pretty obvious when checking what you have received as a winner.
The titles are similar, yes, but there are also different games with actual identical title. Therefore the winner always has to ensure that they got the right game.

Replaced and resent key. I hope the app ID is correct, it's not from IndieGala and not marked as "reloaded".

Tell your winner, not me: You will have to establish contact with them to inform them about the key replacement. Winners only get notified upon original key delivery. Any editing of the key will have to be informed about manually.

I've already sent the winner multiple comments on one of their old giveaways. No replies yet, just putting all the relevant information somewhere visible for whenever they get online.

Ok, no need to keep replying to my comments though. We as support have done our part, the rest is up to you guys.

Have a nice day.
