Itch is for demos / tutorial games, first basic projects, etc. It also has very cool and fair business model.
I don't get why people dump their floatware on steam... I don't get why people put games that take 10 minutes to finish and grant you cards + 1000+ achievements on steam. I don't get why people buy them.
I think entry fee for steam is too low now and everyone can dump their stuff in there without any quality control, meh. Greenlight was a little bit better, but people were buying votes in there, so... it had it flaws as well.
