The first two episodes of the original DOOM take place on two of Mars's moons, Deimos and Phobos. Episode 3 was originally supposed to take place on Mars's third moon, Glenn Close, but this episode ended up being scrapped due to time constraints.

Does this game take place on Britannia (the world from the Ultima series)? The reason I ask is the name of the dungeon. Doom... ;)
