Description

I've enjoyed multiple meals from you fine folks who've given me some of your favorite recipes. Of note, I've enjoyed the best buttered toast, an amazingly simple and tasty meatloaf, and some excellent pasta salad! I've even enjoyed a trip to Taco Bell, and the occasional frozen pizza ;)

Fun fact: I was recently given a massive zucchini - over 5 pounds - and made an obnoxious amount of zucchini fries, and still have plenty of zucchini left-over for other things. If you have any excellent uses for roughly 2-3 pounds of zucchini, please post'em! All dildo references will be taken into consideration by the You're Not Original Committee.

Otherwise, good luck! :D

(I haven't played the game yet myself, so I have no idea what to expect)

I have no recipes to offer at the moment, but I am working on a new Salmon experiment. I'll get back to you and let you know how it goes.

Anyways, thank you very much. I'm very interested in this game, and good luck to everyone who enters!

Ooo, Salmon! Please do let me know how this experiment goes. I'm always fond of grilling it on a cedar plank or going with teriyaki sauce.

My sister mentioned something about zucchini and lasagna a few days ago, but i'm not good at anything cooking related, sorry.

Hmm... it could be a vegetarian-like lasagna. Use zucchini instead of meat. I've seen it used as a vegetable filler in meat lasagnas, too.

That had occurred to me, but I'll see how much of this beastly zucchini I can use for fresh things before I relegate it to delicious bread.

Summer Veggie Dip

1 can sweet corn, 1 can black beans, 1 tomato, 1 onion, 2 avacados, 1 lime, 1 tablespoon EVO

Dice the onion, tomato, and avacado and combine with the drained corn and beans in a large bowl.
In a separate dish mix the Olive Oil and juice from one lime, then add to the bowl of veggies and toss.

With this Dip I prefer to use tortilla chips with lime flavoring as it gives it just a little something more.

Sorry cant put my hands on the zuchini bread recipe atm.

Do I use the zucchini as a topping or as the pizza dough? Most zucchini I couldn't imagine being used as the base of a pizza, but this thing is massive.

Here's a recipe for stuffed zucchini I like to use. http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1650,128179-246195,00.html

But to be honest, the best is sliced zucchini dipped in soy sauce and eaten. yum!

I'm always curious about different types of tower defense games. Sanctum didn't get a really great score on Metacritic, but I tried the demo, loved it, and bought it. Anomaly seems like an interesting take on Tower-D, as well.

Zucchini bread!

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 1/4 cups white sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups grated zucchini
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions

Grease and flour two 8 x 4 inch pans. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar together in a large bowl. Add sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture, and beat well. Stir in zucchini and nuts until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 20 minutes. Remove bread from pan, and completely cool.

I'll have to omit the walnuts as the missus isn't fond of nuts (there's a penis joke in there somewhere), but the rest of the recipe sounds terrific! Thanks, Tensokuu!
