Running giveaways with higher levels encourages users to do giveaways to increase their level. Please prioritize who contributes to the growth of the site and community.
I personally prefer people limiting to groups that encourage playing, like PAGYWOSG, PoP, Taleplay, Playing Matters, Unlucky-7, the now closed Playing Appreciated, and more. Not everyone has the means to buy and/or gift games, and to me it matters more that the winner will use the key.
But of course, to each their own! I hope you have fun no matter what :)
I honestly just found it a little silly to give critisism for choosing a "low" level for the giveaway where I had both increased the level and extended the duration beyond what I normally do. I will do giveaways however I feel on the day of creating it. Thank you for the idea of groups, I will look into it.
For me it's mostly been about making sure I can filter out some of the bots or whatever a friend mentioned by keeping it level 1 and above. Lower valued games I have no issues giving out to those on level 1 and if I happen to have AAA titles I will be more inclined to increase the level significantly. Have a good day all ☺️
I think it's a lot of fun, but generally not a lot of high value. I have managed to grab up a lot of games from my wishlist tho. If you're someone with an already large library or that's quite picky with games I doubt you would find much useful
