Hey! The games should redeem in Germany as neither gifts nor keys have region locks (except maybe the usual suspects, e.g. CIS/BR gifts). There are in fact a few region-locked games and this compilation is not among them, so German winners will get the whole package as well!

Shadow Dancer store page does´nt even show for germany, seems to be one of those silly rights issues.
Checked Loom out of curiosity (somehow i already got it) and that shows perfectly fine.
Indiana Jones the last crusade on the other hand has a non existant store page again - although in this case i´m preeetty sure because of swastikas (had an englishman gift it to me :p).
The whole digital rights pool is confusing to the bone.
A problem we did´nt have back when all your games came through mail order -.-

These BPjM guys are delusional! Always were and always will be. Last year or so they pulled DOOM off the list and yet you cannot buy a 16 BIT dancing game.......
As for steam, sadly they have no other option. That sucky law explicitly says "cannot be advertised on storefronts", and since steam as a whole is a storefront with no means of valid age verification they just walk the way of least resistance.
edit: And you´re right, owning those titles is perfectly fine. Just nowadys the getting to own them becomes harder and harder :D

Yeah i think most of the problems with this authority stem from their vague to non-existant standards.
You never know who might be calling the shots there. Back in the day they were only responsible for Texts (as in songs and books), when suddenly things like Dirty Moves came around and nobody was prepared for it. As it turns out, they haven´t worked on that a single bit in the last 25 years!
Take Manhunt for example, i only wanted to play that because i knew it was banned like really banned and not soft-banned. It´s a factor that young people take into consideration. The game itself was so bad, it would´ve flopped without the help of some clueless authority anyway (bad rockstar, baaad!).
The vomit inducing part starts when these people take decisions away from you, as we can see on steam. I recently noticed that someone pulled Dark Forces from german store, now you´re telling me that a whole lot of loveable Duke Nukem cannot be bought anymore either .... i mean whats the point in this? I can buy Mortal Kombat X, but not Komplete? Are they out of their fucking minds?!
All the kids nowadays walk around with mobile porn watching stations and yet the BPjM insists on telling us we cannot play whatever we want to, it´s ridiculous. Had i been better at school and became a lawyer (uuurgh) i´d take them all to court over their uninformed two-sided idiot decision making processes.
A shame only the creator can ask for re-evaluation .. might´ve shot them a juicy chain-mail XD

Phew! Got Blake Stone in a package with RoTT last year. Still bummed about removal of the new ROTT, i liked what i saw during it´s free weekend (tbh i´ve been lamenting about how we were allowed playing this and not mortal kombat, again).
There´s lots of vanishing titles recently, be it licence problems or gurmanz, it creates that kind of closure fear that makes the whole platform less appealing than .. lets say other platforms that don´t employ those restrictions. Also i´m still pissed about the stunt paradox pulled with their stellaris discount the last holiday sale!
You just cannot trust anything anymore!

edit: thx for the good read! Fav part is about MK:X not being banned because "the over the top finishing moves are a clear seperation from reality" (it´s no lie, some of the fatalities are l-o-l ridiculous) which is a quote directly from BPjM! They must be kickass people when finishing moves from MK1 are NO clear seperation from reality for them - heads getting ripped off with spine attached, of course you do that everyday.

That´s too bad, MK:X really is a fun game but i guess you can have the same "clean" fun with Street Fighter series. I might´ve developed a healthy inability to feel bad for pixels, only one time (out of a few hundred hours) playing Red Orchestra 2 felt too real, or un-seperated from reality if you wish, actually turned my stomach a little and i was quite shocked about that happening.
edit: Thinking about it make that two times, the other one was playing an ArmA2 WW2 mod ... which i think leads us back to cultural guilt, or the fact that 70 years isn´t such a long time ago.
