I'm not sure about the meaning of the question, but in spirit of responding will say beyond modern basics surprisingly few material things hold much meaning to me the older I get . Roof, food, water, electricity, bills paid, health of me and family - means a lot. I guess to extend that I'd probably miss internet and computer connectivity very much if it were lost as it's a major connection to the world.

It's a very open question, thank you for your insight.
That being said I can't lie, shiny things tempt me to no end

Ha! For sure. I went through a phase when I was younger. I'm a musician so totally went through a phase where I bought a bunch of guitars, probably had 15-20 at one point, and a bunch of mics and recording equipment. Then sold it all to downsize. I suspect humans in general have a natural tendency to collect/acquire. It's probably built in as a survival thing to have extra for rainy day, maybe (total guess)? But once I did it I better understood it for what it was. It's not much different from how most gamers have a backlog collection of 100s of games (me too). I've really tried to slow down that also. all imho.

My GPS-watch, 'cause I'm fond of running. Still, could survive without it

Maybe one day a meteor will hit near you and turn it into a Ben-10 alien watch, you never know

My employment contract. Since I own nothing of real value, it's all replacable. It would just take time.
