Description

Studentendorf Schlachtensee

You can walk north from here to Schlachtensee Station

This was the first place I stayed in Berlin when I arrived. Some how I managed to get dormed with some of the messiest people in all the buildings. However, I met a lot of cool people and we had a lot of fun. First we checked out the Club that was there, and that was when I first had Veltin's on Tap. Club A18 wasn't anything super special, but it definitely took care of our needs when we were very lazy. It had Foosball, and Pool tables, and places to sit outside and socialize. They also had typically good dinners and pretty cheap drinks.

The grounds were actually pretty cool, but I hated the laundry situation there. However, we would get tossed and start climbing on things. Actually toward the end we found easy access to the roof and we'd sit up there and drink. I met some pretty good friends that first summer that went on so many explorations with me. While we were way out in the sticks of Berlin down in Zehlendorf, we still managed to have a good time. Everything we needed was nearby, Grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Most importantly, we had each other and silly times.

The rooms were small, but enough for one person. A bed, a desk, a closet, and shelves. I was on the first floor, and I don't know why, but often I would go out through the window. Course that same window was where my friends would come to knock on it to wake me up. Bastards.

The wooden wall has its flair, did you have one of that too? And if you went out of the window, how did you close it from the outside? I mean that technically means everyone could also get inside that window.. And steal things? Or do you mean go out and stay right there but not leaving?

Technically yes, but I could pull it closed so it looked totally shut. And none of the kids there were thieves ;)

Sometimes I stayed right there, just to get some outside time :D

Hmm, I supposedly found two places where you lived, some stations you've upgraded, but no clues =o
I think I finished the map too early, and some things were changed since then, so I'll need to search it all over again =D

Yup, this is one of them ;)
And if you found another, then you only have to find the last one ;)

I finally arrived there, searched the whole map again, solved almost everything, just one step left, but I have no idea where did you find those things in Berlin =o
I think I'll continue my search tomorrow =))

It's definitely not ON a line, but off of one... and you'll have to find the path on your own, I didn't provide a nice neat link for you ;)

Thank you! :)
Followed nearly all your stations, only missed a Ringbahn and a few hidden ones :)
Glad to see that you had such a nice time in Berlin! And there are still way better and more beautiful cities here in Germany, if you decide to travel here again one day ^_^

Oh, I know... I visited a couple of them, but Berlin was ... kinda of like a super good fit for me as a person and personality wise... and Cost of Living ;)

But I got to visit Leipzig and Dresden and München as well... oh and Salzwedel of all places :3
