For the positive thread.
Don't ever think negative when you think you aren't going to do it. ALWAYS think positive!
I remember 3 years ago that I was terrified of presentations... I HATED them... DESPISED them...
I always took the chance of trying to call sick to not go to those days (even if the presentations costed me points, I could recover them by doing exceptionally in the exams...), I just... fell like I was going to fall flat on the floor while looking at everybody looking at me... To my movements... To everything...
One day, when I was assisting to lessons in Telematics, our teacher decided that, to make things more "fun", he wanted us to bring a presentation about a fake futuristic project (Like Jetpacks and stuff like that) in a professional manner.
I felt doomed... While the others were like... "Yeah! That's awesome", I was about to cry in the spot... Why? Why they do this to me?
I couldn't get out from that, there was no way... If I do it, I just lose the subject and I had to go back again to assist it a full 4 months, which was a LOT of time to waste :/
So, I took a deep breath, and started to work on it... It was 4 months away, so I had no reason to get all nervous about it.
And then, the 4 months passed... The day of the presentations came...
I felt really anxious that day, I wasn't the best talker, since I prefer to just keep quiet (I'm also very shy myself...), I felt like I had to run and never come back, but I stayed. Soon enough, I tried to think on it... When this is done, I can get out and go home again, with my family...
I couldn't let a presentation destroy my life... So I started to get a bit angry, with the presentation and with myself...
I HAD TO DO IT!
Then, it was my turn... I stood up, and I offered the USB to my teacher, so he could show it up on PowerPoint.
And then, it started...
I started to explain it all, focusing on the subject I had, because I had to be professional... There was nothing else I can think of, except my presentation.
To my surprise, the 30 minutes passed and I finished in the allotted time... Then suddenly, a wave of applause from my classmates came, as well from my teacher, congratulating me on such amazing job.
I felt like I was going to cry, not in sadness, but in happiness... Because I did something that was very terrifying for me.
That presentation... was nothing!
That presentation... could be done!
From then on, I have way more confidence in my presentations, thinking on them as another opponent to beat.
And when that opponent goes down, I can claim VICTORY AGAIN! :D
If you read everything, I hope you have enjoyed it and I thank you for taking your time on reading it! :)

Hah, I used to be very anxious about presentations myself in the past too. But at my last internship they made me do like two every week about all the stuff I was working on. I had to do so many that I simply got used to doing them. Now doing presentations keeps getting easier and easier every time I do it.
I hope it will keep getting easier and easier for you to do presentations in the future too!
Good luck! And thanks for the gibbie!

Woah, 2 presentations every week? That's not only tedious, but it requires a lot of energy, hehe!
I should be able to do that as well, but as of now, no teacher has done such cruel thing to us! xD
I'm glad that anxiety is gone!
No problem! Good luck to you as well! :)

If you are a teacher half of the time you got to give a show especially if you teach history like I do
To make it more interesting :)

Yeah, they give you so many presentations that you just say... "Screw it, it's not going to end, so why bother getting nervous?" xD
