Damn - I should have checked this better.. I use the ESGST and the Steam Inventory Helper to show me if I own anything before I enter, but sometimes this happens: I own something which is almost the same, but with a different Steam license.
I'm sorry you already had to re-roll 2 times, and I'm sorry I'm going to ask you to do it again (if you still feel up to it).
I agree wholeheartedly with what you wrote: give somebody else a chance, who might not have any of the Disciples III versions. They will enjoy it so much more.
And I'm going to put this one on my 'do-not-show-list', so this doesn't happen again.
