Awww I am sorry :( Sadly it seems to be you are not the only one that didn't notice either. There is another giveaway that he has won via the group after he got kicked. I have rejected both in the group tool, but I hope they will get played someday anyways :/
I can only recommend checking if someone is still in the group before sending the key out (and if not send me a message and I will provide you with the proof you need for a reroll) as once they activate the key there is not much we can do.
