Beware: Someone who owns Deponia: The Complete Journey can enter this giveaway although already owning "Goodbye Deponia" as part of "Deponia: The Complete Journey".

Technically that's not a violation of the rules. Games had separate IDs, so it's more like a "remaster". I'm not part of the support, so I don't know for sure, but I believe they don't re-roll in such cases.

Hey.
It's not a violation of the rules, correct, so I'm pretty sure this warrants no reroll. It might warrant a blacklist, tho ^^

Makes sense.

lol...
I own neither, but plan on owning the whole series. Is there any difference in the normal "Goodbye Deponia" and the one we get in "Deponia: The Complete Journey", in case you have any idea?

No difference.

I took a look a while ago and some reviews complained about some language localizations that were not included in Complete Deponia though they were into the original single releases. Main reason was that Daedaelic had to re-sync audio and subtitles (yes, both are gone in some languages, e.g: spanish) that were provided by another company originally, and they would have needed to pay again for further work. It was of no use simply "adding" them. And being a repackage of something already sold, having additional costs was rejected.
I also remember reading someone stating that in Complete Deponia there were some scenes never seen in the single releases, but I have found no backing source for that, so I am unsure about that. Either disregard this part (as if they exist, should be minimal) or let me know if you find something about these.
Basically, if you play in english, you should see no difference. If not, check your preferred language support.

Thanks a lot. That seems really well researched. Must have taken you a lot of time.
Well, since I play in English, it seems getting the complete journey would be better for me. Either I will get exactly the same thing as the original ones, or I'll get to see a few extra scenes.
However, since there isn't any official statement, I find it very unlikely. The publishes usually love to take exaggerate even the smallest of updates and try to make them the selling point. Since the product page doesn't say anything, I believe it must be the same.
Once again thanks for the info.
