It might also be a good idea to include in the description that this is a subscription game. It'd be a shame to go to people that aren't willing to sub after their 30 days(and your friend code would be useless then as well :P )
I'd also link the Recruit a Friend Campaign page since some people see the word referral and think it's the devil or something.

Great game choice nonetheless! Been playing for the past 6 months on Cerberus. Proud 2 star omnicrafter(minus cul) with ilvl 229 WHM \o/

Luckily I've gotten most of the "sub for X amount of days" recruitment rewards from one of my friends using the code, just missing a few items since he maxed out the time. I'll update the info section, I was a bit iffy because the rules forbid any sort of referral links and I didn't want to get flagged by someone just glancing at the word "refer/recruit" in a link.

I've been playing for a little over a year, just switched to Ultros 3 months back. Haven't gotten too much into crafting despite going through the effort of maxing them all. Balancing most of my time between WHM and NIN, which are 223 and 222 respectively

Yeah, I'm not sure it counts as a referral anyway. It's an optional code that benefits both users(the friendship circlet from the RaF combined with the Brand New Ring from the Hall of Novice is pure gold) and since it's not embedded in the link... :\
