You have a solid reason plus you are the initiator of this event, so you have the final say on the rules. I really appreciate the effort you put into this event but isn't this called community train? Wouldn't saying you own the train kinda beat the purpose?
While i do not really own the event. I do get to set the rules as the main organizer. And you are right as a community train i do ask others and honestly most of the rules were asked for by others and i simply went with them.
Its just that some people tick me off by demanding instead of asking. So i decided to go with that.
Here's what I think about your rules! Outlaw cart free of numbers because I was too lazy to check if more are needed or not before making that and to delete and remake it now.
In my region there is 40 hours until the end of September 28, really didn't expect the train to end so soon. I think capping the train early is a bad idea because it can really pick up speed near the end (if you let it.) Thanks for organizing the event Fiddler :]
That's one of the things that made the original train fun. I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy adding giveaways soon before the train ends so that just those looking for them will find them, it's part of the fun.
Not having links provided in the main thread to skip through the train was also more fun. You didn't know how long the train was or if you would have enough time to click through it if you showed up late or lost your spot. There are too many rules now.
I heard some rumors about outlaws still posting giveaways somewhere around here :)

We really don't have a ton of time left anyway. Now we all get to spend Friday actually going through the train to see if we missed anything.

We need to have a cutoff date cause otherwise we are going to have 1-2 hour GAs that most people won't see.
Also need to give people time to go through all the GAs and enter what they want.
