The key I got activated as "Tumblestone Trial" and I'm not sure what that means. Does that mean it's only valid for a certain period of time?

It means you got the demo of this game which can be obtained unlimitedly when you have the full game. You can play a couple of matches with the gifter per day... You need to mark this as NOT RECEIVED, might ask Support now as more than a month passed. You should do it ASAP before you get in trouble for not having the full game you marked as received (send a ticket if you can't click on the proper feedback).
