Note that The Last Standalone is free for owners of Retribution, so it'll show up as you owning both if you own Retribution, even though TLS is only playable through Retribution in that circumstance. :)
My Tau Commander key [from that single batch Sega sent out during the event] got revoked after the bloody steam store activation ended, so I ended up without it, and Sega support was totally dismissive about the matter. "Nope, it's ended, too bad for you," not even a hint of an apology for the bug on their end/disaster of organization they had that caused it in the first place. Grrrr.
Anyway, seeing as it's in this pack, I've got my fingers crossed =O
Winning it in a pack like this would make my not having gotten it earlier irrelevant :D
But yeah, Retri is the only one I own so far, and I made a point of getting it 'cause it was such a good deal on TLS. :)
Nah- 2 seemed to do everything 1 did, but way better, so I shot straight to it- especially with that delicious co-op Last Stand mode :D
So far all I've really looked into is Retribution though (again, Last Stand was a major draw for me :D), I don't really know anything about the previous games. :X
Sounds like you hate having spare money and love having a large backlog, actually. But yeah, if you're sure you want to play it soon. Fair chance they'll get bundled again eventually, I imagine, so as usual, consider if you'll be playing it sooner or later. It's not like it won't go on sale for 75% off again fairly reliably.
As well, up to this point I believe everything except the Retribution DLCs has been bundled, so you may be able to get them elsewhere.
Speaking of lootish rpg type games and backlogs, how did you enjoy (or did you even yet play) your winter sale games? Especially curious what you thought of Aarklash. :)

Then again, a large bag of gardening soil is about the same cost as that $14 Retribution full DLC pack, so your simile is apt :P
