One of my favorite ALL TIME RTS games. For real I love this game, it was one of the first video games I got into. I still believe that this is better than all of its successors like supreme commander and planetary annihilation.

The classics: Deus Ex, Syndicate, System Shock, EYE Divine Cybermancy.
I like VA-11 HALL-A a lot despite it being really different from your typical cyberpunk and even post-cyberpunk stories. I liked Omnikron but never finished it.

Did you enjoy the Syndicate reboot? I thought it was rad. I sometimes play cyberpunk roleplaying games like shadowrun and cyberpunk2020 etc

Never played the reboot. I've never played Shadowrun, but I like Cyberpunk 2020 and have made a lot of homebrew weapons and gear for it.

Science Fiction, but it's not a fair comparison. The whole scope of SciFi expands and changes indefinitely the more we learn, compared to Medieval Fantasy which can really only be expanded through story and mechanics.

hmm it kind of hard to quantify, but it's like - A really good immersive gave will give you those feelings that allow you to think that maybe Honor and Loyalty isn't really dead, where people today are so two faced, yet with people making these games you can see that there are some people out there who still understand the concepts...

This is a classic! I remember watching my dad play this as a kid. I don't have a copy anymore since my old disks are at home and I'm off at school now.
I enjoy both science fiction and fantasy, but I actually think my favorite is either cyberpunk or science fantasy (and not just "Oh, it's not hard sci-fi so it's fantasy"), because I like the aesthetic of both a ton. Cyberpunk has been a favorite of mine since I found out about Shadowrun in high school (actually, that's also science fantasy, now that I think about it, doused in cyberpunk until it's unrecognizable as such). I also enjoy things like FFXIV which are explicitly fantasy, but with some science fiction aesthetic to it, especially the Binding Coil of Bahamut.

I like medieval fantasy (magic! dragons! things like that) with a dash of sci-fi in it, like lost technology from ancient scientific era, etc. Mixing and matching is especially fun, like reverse-engineering something scientific that cannot be replicated due to lack of technology and scientific know-how with magic instead... always did like magitech~

Hard to choose, I do like ancient history, but I also like technology and imagining the future. If I'm forced I suppose I'll choose sci-fi. :)
