Instead of saying thanks, you can answer the following question:
Which is your favourite videogame OST?

My favourite game OST is probably Electronic Super Joy's :D

... that was easy! Thanks.

I really like all the musics (that's rare for me)
I could also add Descenders' and minit (especially sabasaba desert)

It's superweird, but Katamari Damacy has a killer soundtrack.

Not my cup of tea, but interesting enough. Thank you!

Ofc! It is definitely weird, but the actual OST (not just the music in-game) is cut surprisingly well. I also really enjoy the Silent Hill 3 soundtrack (I still have my PS2 copy of that game since it came with the OST on CD) and Persona 4 (5 is a bit repetitive) and out of the three soundtracks listed, it's by far the most diverse.

That's a tough question! The sublime orchestra of Final Fantasy VI or the grooves of Yuzo Koshiro's Streets of Rage 2 or perhaps the iconic Contra soundtrack or the more modern heavy guitar and orchestral mix of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. Or the obscure but wonderful soundtracks like Journey to Silius or Headhunter or Steel Empire!
I could go on and on. This is what happens when you ask a game music remixer about favorite game OSTs. :P Happy new year and thanks for the gift chance!

A lot of recs. I'll look into them. Thank you and happy new year.

Hmm. The one that instantly comes to mind is Quake II. Perfect music for that game, and great music otherwise. Other noteworthy mentions are Life Is Strange, several Command and Conquer games and most Blizzard games.

I was unconvinced by the use of LiS of recognised themes. For instance, I already knew of Spanish Sahara by Foals but I could do without its use in the ending. It felt a bit too much like some random series on TV. Thank you anyway for that, and especially for the other recs!

Dustforce, maybe also Bastion and ,weirdly, Hotline Miami 2 was very fitting. Oh yea, FTL menu theme (plus the rest I suppose) is great too! I've got a few more but I would keep rambling on hehe.

I like all of them! Well, not exactly: I have played and enjoyed the track in Hotline Miami 1, haven't played 2.
Supergiant Games are really solid, but their tracks tend to the outstanding. I loved Transistor's, and I am hooked to Pyre's Dread Design.
Thanks!

Agreed, I loved Bastion and Transistor, I haven't tried Pyre yet and I heard some comments that it's best played with a controller (which I don't have). Would you recommend getting that game?

I did play Pyre with the keyboard, but I think you are right about the controller... I'm pretty sure it plays quite more smoothly with one. So, your call! (You can also pick a cheap-ass controller through Amazon -- I do have one, PS-like, that I picked for 8 EUR or so. It works fairly well but I hardly ever use it).

PixelJunk Shooter, PixelJunk Shooter 2, and PixelJunk Sidescroller.

I'll take a look into them -- both the games and the OSTs. Thank you!

I tend to favor the soundtracks of SNES-era RPGs (Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, FF IV are all great choices) but I think Undertale is the most recent game with a soundtrack I'd consider listening to on its own.

I have little experience with them but from what I know, I agree with you! I'll hear them more thoroughly. Thanks!

Hm not sure about video game OSTs, but both Matrix and Universal Soldier 2 had an amazing soundtrack.

That The Clay People track is solid. Thanks!

Hmm, first thing that comes to my mind is 'The Witcher 3'

I have neither played the game nor heard to the OST. Maybe, in the future... Thanks!
