Would you rather, as a person giving away a game, scroll through 2 screens of people you don't know saying "thanks" or "thank you" or the ever sincere "thx", or get one good, heartfelt email from the person who actually won the game?
**EDIT: The way I phrased it sounded kinda douchey. I really am thankful for this giveaway, as I am with all giveaways. I just never understood the appeal of 100 comments with the same one or two words on it.

i just like to know the 1000000 automated bots aren't bidding on games over real people is all. but with this as my first give away, i guess i just feel a little more sensitive than i should.
Look at it this way. The game will be won. Maybe by a bot, maybe by a real person... It's random, and you have blessed little control over the result. But in any case, you're giving back to the community, and that's the right thing to do. So come hell or high water, you're welcome on my ship any day.
