Description

Hi, everyone!
Time to celebrate some Final Fantasy title - I finally got to my 10th tattoo related to Final Fantasy and I think that there are always too few players on Steam which enjoy the FF titles, so here you go with some nice games to start with :')
The gifts are provided through keys, so they're brand new and don't require any friend request! (Plus, of course, I've got them all on Steam since years, that's obvious XD)
Good luck everyone, have fun and play lots of FF/Square (let me keep the old name, although they're all awesome XD) games xD

thanks a lot!
unfortunately, the leg's completely dedicated to ffs from 2 to 10-2 cos.. the other ones were "too new" and didn't mix well with the '90 style xD
but I wanted to give away FF13 'cos it's really an awesome game, and on PC it's great! I've had lots of fun playing it with an XBOX controller :)

Why unfortunately, I think it's a great plan to keep things visually identical.:)
Yes FF games are amazing - i have played most of them on consoles, but i hope some day to have them on pc too so i can play them again.
All the best and i hope you will have a nice sunday.:)

Thanks a lot again, and well.. hope to make other Steam final fantasy giveaways in the future!! it's been the same for me - some titles like ff7, before Steam they had like a 10 year gap since the last time I played them on console so it was amazing :P

yeah, I miss so much those years! :')
and it's so difficult to try to explain what was for an European kid in the '90s play rpgs and living generally between arcade and console gaming :P
oh, the "unfortunately" above was for the fact that I love Lightning and Serah but they're visually too different compared to characters and fan-arts from the first 10 titles so I had to leave them :P
Have a nice week ^^

Yes, I fully understand you. Back in the days we had a console club here - so many happy hours spent there with friends.
Thank you and have a nice one too.:)

I first learned about Final Fantasy through the 8 Bit Theater webcomic. After I started reading that I had to play the games. But there are too many games and too little time. Which ones would you recommend I play first?

that's a hard question, and it depends on many factors ahah :)
I'm from the '90s so I had the enormous luck to start them on nes and snes (imported cassettes from the states, fan translations from japanese etc xD)
my favourite is ff6 and i'd recommend it to anyone, but if you're for new graphics and such i'd go with 13 and 13-2, they're both awesome!
if you're for a retro snes style 4 is the simplest, 6 the best for characters, story and so on.. 5 is greatly customizable due to tons of different jobs..
it's really a difficult question XD
i'd say: if you're for retro snes go for 6, if you want a mixed experience (the first 3D play1 games XD) go for 7, if you're into playstation3-4 games 13 (which is simpler and linear, 13-2 is way more "open") and good luck xD

Thanks for taking the time to write a response so complete. I'll play ff6 next then, unless I win this one :)

sorry for the rushed answer, thanks a lot for reading through it and yeah, ff6 in my view still remains the best game ever made, I played it on gba, steam, ps.. it's always awesome.. really the best from all the nes/snes era (so, from 1 to 6 and including spinoffs xD), and not that difficult at all, if you like great fantasy stories and awesome rpg gameplay that's the game for you, you just need to be used to the snes 16 bit graphics of course xD (but if you win this one, 13 has been really a surprise for me.. 13-2 is better, but more difficult and way longer, 13 is linear but extremely beautiful!!)

Is it on your buttchick? It is? Yes? Sorry. I just had to ask that question. Yes. :f
And well. Only FF games i've played were for nes/snes. + one tactical on gba. Fun times. Yes.

near, ahah it's actually on my left hip and so a little above (if I got your word right, I never studied English and I don't even know how they talk in the States XD but yeah I think I understood ahahah), because on the right one you'll find..
I could say, Square related.. if you've been on the snes like me you probably can relate.. xD
btw, well, ff tactics advance on the gba is like the only game i keep on playing every year, i don't know how many hundreds of hours i spent into it XD awesome anyways, you chose probably among the best ones, although they kept on publishing awesome titles 'till today ^^

well, I'll always be a NES/SNES player.. it's my history.. my memories.. XD
but I've got to say that FF13 and (even more) 13-2 surprised me really a lot, I found them both awesome :P
plus, if one wants to approach the series and he's born like in the '90s or he's even younger, I think FF13 being linear, easy and 3D/"new" (XD) is the right choice..
it's quite hard to meet teenagers now that play snes games xD
anyways, I'm with you definitely :P those American cassettes.. we had to import them and use a modifier for our European Nintendo consoles ahah

Thanks for the giveaway I recently finished FF15(and it was amazing) as my first FF game. Now I want to get into FF series but barely missed the SE publisher sale on steam guess i'll have to wait until summer sales.

well, this is definitely awesome.. if you started with 15, 13 is what suits you more in my opinion even for what concerns graphics and gameplay! of course, they're all a must play :P you're welcome :)

Whoa. Thanks for the giveaway! Final Fantasy is an amazing series. The music and even sound effects still resonate in my mind after all the years. Especially the death noise from ff tactics. Haha.

they kept on with region locked games even for the psx so ff tactics on the ps.. imported from the states and modified, like all the other ff titles never published here in europe in the '90s ahah :)
thanks a lot for appreciating the series, and my giveaway of course :P

I first played Final Fantasy 1 in the 80's probably still? Late 80's, but it left an impression.

FF VI through X are still some of my favorite games ever made, especially VII and X. I'd have liked earlier ones more, but they were not really Americanized at that time yet so much.

I have a near-perfect (in my opinion) game of FF VII. Everything you can imagine acquired, except 99 of the hard to get Gold Saucer Chocobo racing items (too dang random!). I had literally everything imaginable though at max or beyond count, where values turned into odd symbols after getting enough 9's, and it took many thousands of hours of time getting just to that point. I still miss Square/Squaresoft games... before merger.

I still remember - bearing in mind that I'm from the '80s and ff7 was the FIRST ff officially published in Europe - the joy we had when we got knights of the round and well, completed everything in the game.. magical years, so many memories :)
I really loved them all, but definitely 6 is the one that stands tall over the others.. but 7, 9, 10.. they're all awesome.. 4 and 5.. and I really loved 13 and 13-2, they're ported perfectly here on Steam (although the translations are, as always, basically impossible to read so I played them all in English - never studied it, I learned English thanks to gamefaqs and american cartridges in the '90s XD)..
anyways I started too with the snes imported and modified cartridges (and kept going on with emulators, japanese fan translations.. xD) but the memories of FF7, the 3D-psx thing, completing it all.. it's been really something unrepeatable, and amazing.. but I keep on loving all the titles (well except the mmorpg ones, really, final fantasy must be single player xD)

there are tons of reasons behind! I've also got a hand-made tattoo in hebrew by a close friend of mine (left-handed by the way, and female of course xD) on my lower right back which looks awesome, I took it from the Tanakh and it means a lot to me, of course like all the other ones :P
I really think I look 100 times better as I am with my tattoos than before, my skin's also made for them (i'm not "super" white, northern italian) since it seems that they shine and keep their colours perfectly :P

you do know that the bible against tattoos right? :)

by the way what does it says? (just curiosity)

The Torah and the Quran forbid a believer to have tattoos, but I'm Northern Italian (Y haplogroup R-U152, basically the most common in Switzerland and other Italo-Celtic areas) and I'm a Theravada (nontheistic, they say, or agnostic) Buddhist so.. I'm not definitely bound to believe in things that I don't even know who when and why had written them :)
