Recently I finished the GOTY Enhanced edition of Borderlands, which I played in the original ages ago - back then I made it nearly to the end of the first play-through, and this time we did the base run and also moved on to the DLC packages (except the Underdome arena DLC, life's too short for that one). I'm delighted at how old the Borderlands games are. The first one came out in October of 2009, fifteen years ago this week. Borderlands 2, which we've just started - I'm playing these co-op with a friend, though at heart I'm really a solo player - came out in 2012. And here in 2024, I'm having a blast with them. Though I'm not sure I'm actually going to go and do the second play-through, because, well, you know. There are so many games in the world.

also fairly recently finished the first borderlands, didn't do any of the dlc stuff as I jumped into NG+ considering it... and then that boosts their levels so I was going to have to grind some levels to do it(well... except the arena one... and that one I did try... just nope lol)
took me forever to get to it because it had issues with my 360 controller and I recently bought an xbox elite series controller(expensive but nice controller... I think I would have better off with a base xbone controller)

I played Borderlands briefly co-op with some friends a million years ago, and it didn't catch me. Now I think I own 3 games free thru various services. Wondering if I should give it another shot...
