Description

Spammers get blacklisted, thankers may or may not get blacklisted.

You may however, if you wish to comment, tell me of a better word/phrase than thankers because I don't think it's a real word.

Thanks a lot. I don't think that's a real phrase either, but I grew up saying that irregardless

Will I get blacklisted if I say thank you if I win this giveaway?

No thanking after GA is fine but I only give away bundle leftovers on this site so it's really not necessary.

The biggest thank is a quickly redeemed key!

I think "thankers" is a reasonable term in this context.

I probably got blacklisted a few times because I give my thanks on every giveaway I enter unless specifically started not to. I'm polite person in general and getting chance to win a sweet game is reason enough for me to give thanks I guess.

I tend to say people who leave "useless thanks" will be blacklisted. Or people who leave the same "mindless thank you comment" on every giveaway.

To me all the non meaningful thanks have devalued any thanks and I'm more thankful not to receive any than have my inbox cluttered with the same generic messages whether or not they are sincere.

Same here. I cleared my black list awhile ago, but it was filled exclusively with people who left the same generic thank you message on every giveaway they entered. I even used to leave Descriptions in my giveaway that said I would blacklist people who did that. I don't at all like the autocomment feature ESGST or the other SteamGift scripts have to enable people to leave the same message on every giveaway they enter.
