I have been playing this game live on stream once in a while. In my opinion, it shouldn't have been released yet (incredibly laggy and buggy), but it's fun with friends. Don't recommend it if you don't have friends to play with, the random experience is even worse than in Rocket League.

Problem is not chat. I mean, I honestly leave the chat open because I laught about what they say xD. Problem is that, because of the nature of the game, the designated goalkeeper won't want to do so, scoring own goals, players won't want to pass (and it's not like you can take the ball from them, unlike rocket league) and a lot of them just constantly shooting from their own side... Just because. It ruins an experience that can be pretty fun (playing by giving passes with teammates is a lot of fun here).
But, I mean, you are free to try on your own if you want, I just don't recommend it xD.

I played this with friends during the playtest, and while it was clunky it definitely had its moments.
Unfortunately here in Australia the price for the base game is $44 which is way way too much for the content on offer, in my opinion.
