It'll be another couple of weeks before it stops feeling like we're in full night at 4:30 p.m. - the lingering early dark is one of the roughest parts of winter. I always feel that here in New York we shouldn't make decisions during two months of the year: February, when it's been cold and dark for so long that we can't remember when the days felt good just being days, and August, for the same reasons except hot.

Freedom Fall looks like a charmer - a short platformer with a plot told via messages posted on the walls of the prison tower you'll be escaping from when you play.
