Oof! I feel your pain! I've had a bout of food poisoning before, and it is not a pleasant experience.

I've also gotten the norovirus two times in my life (the kind that is most common on cruise ships). It doesn't last more than a day (two at the most), but I have never, EVER felt as bad as I did then. Hopefully you'll never experience it (or another instance of food poisoning) in your life!

I am glad that you are feeling a little bit better, and I hope that you feel 100% as soon as possible!

Did it affect your job at all (having to miss time or anything like that)? The only good thing about food poisoning (if it can be considered "good", that is) is that it isn't contagious (unless other poor souls ate the same food) unlike a cold or the flu.

I do have to add one final thing. You've made a LOT of excellent giveaways, and you look to be a very friendly person. Thank you for that. I am also adding you to my whitelist. I hope the remainder of your summer ends up being wonderful. :)

Food poisoning from grilled chicken salad?! That would give me some serious nightmares about not undercooking my chicken if that had ever happened to me... I hope you feel better soon, and hopefully we can see saladandhappiness instead of saladandsadness (I'm sorry for the pun)!

Cooked food should be safe most of the time. I suspect it's the sauce or the vegs that has been causing the problem.

You would think grilled chicken would be one of the safer salads since it obviously wouldn't be from the cooked food. Gotta wonder what it was that sat too long. Lettuce is easiest to blame but not necessarily the culprit. Hope you're feeling better soon!

It's a bit of a word joke, in your case, with the salad but i am sure your bowel had prefered to waive in this case^^.

In germany you could send that place the Economic control service from the health department, they appear there very fast (max. a few hours later if not really late in the night). They would find out if the dressing, cheese or whatever was be the problem and they couldn't sell more till the problem is solved.
I don't know if your country have the same or a similar option.

I added you to my Whitelist, most likely you will not enter my GA's but i see it, at least, as a sign of appreciation for how you behave and deal with people and maybe it make you a bit happier, and let you feel a tiny bit better, as before.
