Description

Christmas is coming! And sooner than one might think it will be Christmas Day.
I didn't get into the right Christmas mood yet... well maybe a little bit but not as much as I wished to be. So I need your help to get me there. Just like last year I will send out as much of the good game keys I have as giveaways ending on Christmas Eve and instead of just saying "thanks" it would be great if you would contribute to get me (and most probably yourself and others as well) into Christmas mood by doing one of the following (If possible name uncommon favorites):

1) Name a Christmas Movie (your favorite, one you want to see yourself, one that has a special meaning for you this year, etc)

2) Name a Christmas Song or even better a Christmas Album and the Interpret singing the song or album (your favorite, one you want to listen to yourself, one that has a special meaning for you this year, etc)

3) Name a Christmas PC Game (your favorite, one you want to play yourself, one that has a special meaning for you this year, etc)

4) Tell me your Christmas Plans and what you will do on Christmas.

5) Tell a Christmas Story (real or fictional)

6) Send a good/funny Christmas Gif or Picture.

Thank you for your comments and have a great Pre-Christmas-Time! :-)

Hopefully (if shifts don't change) I will be working on Christmas eve, on Christmas and on new year's eve hehe

"hopefully" because you don't like Christmas and New Years Eve or because the payment is extra good?

Oh well, actually, I liked Christmas day when my grandparents were alive (not for presents, I hate presents, because most are stupid useless stuff). The pay isn't good enough in my opinion. But I just want to be the antisocial person I am. Furthermore, I doubt my employer would let me take some days off during holidays, there are a lot of senior colleagues who have priority over me.
New year's eve, I don't know, I never managed to do what I really wanted. And I don't like big parties in the town square or whatnot. And I see no point in celebrating the end of a shitty year, just to welcome a shittier one.
Last year's new year's eve I was home alone waiting for the result of the covid test since I was sick. What a nice evening I had, hehe.

I don't know if you are supposed to celebrate if you had a shitty year; and I don't know if you are supposed to celebrate if you had a fantastic year. Maybe celebrating is important when you think to yourself, enough of feeling bad because of all the shit-ness around me. I want to feel some tiny little bit of goodnes despite all the shitness that happened, so that you do whatever you want to lift up your mood.

But I'm curious: what is it, that you would really like to do on New Years Eve that you never managed to do yet?

Oh, nothing really, I used to have dinner with friends at home at New Year's Eve when I was younger, nobody had a girlfriend so everybody came, it's just that around midnight they all wanted to go to the town's square with other people, I didn't want to because I didn't care, but I went there nonetheless because I would have remained home alone at midnight. Now that almost everybody has a girlfriend except me, they all have their own programs and I stay home and don't care about celebrating the new year anymore.
Luckily I will work on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Saint Stephen and New Year's Eve evening, so I don't even have to worry about working my ass to organise some dinner nobody will come to.

I know what it means to be in that situation. All my friends are in relationships with their own plans for tonight. So every year I'm confronted with staying home and do nothing. But I don't want that. What is keeping me from going out? Probably two things: 1) afraid of feeling strange, because i go out alone; 2) worrying that what i do alone turns out to be shitty. I don't want to worry or be afraid of something stupid like this, so I usually go out past midnight into the city. But I wonder how it will be tonight if most of the bars are closed or full. Honestly I expect that. Nonetheless I will try to breath in something of the mood of New Year.

I hope you have a good time and a great year, Schnapser29! Happy New Year to you!

Hmmm, I am not really in the Christmas mood either, but I might bake some cookies later and listen to the Christmas album from Leo Moracchioli/Frogleap consisting of great Metal covers of Christmas classics. Makes me usually smile as I am a big nerd for cover versions and those are awesome :)

Two things: 1) Usually I don't enjoy listening to Metal music; 2) I really enjoy the slow and tender classic christmas music
So maybe I won't enjoy Leo Moracchioli/Frogleaps christmas music :D
But i surely will give it a try. After listening to the same christmas music for all those years, this might breath new life into it.
And who knows, maybe it will make me smile like it makes you smile :)

Oh man, Christmas albums always disappoint me so much!
One of my favourite bands is Bad Religion, and their Christmas album is truly awful, imho.

However, I did once give Justin Bieber's Chrtismas album to a friend who loves heavy metal as a "secret Santa" gift, and it has provided a lot of entertainment, even if the music is no good!

I love the idea! to give a Justin Bieber Christmas album to a heavy metal music loving friend :D
You, and apparently your friend as well, have humour!

I usually watch Life of Brian, Nightmare before Christmas and the Muppets Christmas Carol before christmas.
But the really nice mood only starts flowing if I can bake some christmas cookies with friends. Hasnt happened the alst 2 years but maybe next year again

Bit of both. Reached the ending after about 25 hours and then idled for another 5 hours to get the last achievement for 100% :D
Some reviews (even recent ones, so it can't have been an update) claim that it is too hard for a single player in combat, but I didn't feel that. Mind you, most of the time I just ran from anything bigger than a wolf since there was no reason to fight.
