Yes, around 15% will read the description. The rest enter with autojoiners or the EGST script that allow to enter the GA without to open the description page :o(

i skim most, but mostly they ask about "no thank you messages unless you win" or similar. I hardly reply though, unless i win then i do give a thank you, it's only the polite thing to do.

Yep, there are people that reads those. But to give an example, there are some giveaways that have a unobscured, direct, clear, right-on-the-top link in the first and only line of the giveaway, containig an invite-only giveaway to the same game...

...and when I joined one of these, the ratio was 596 (outside) to 100 (inside).

So, basically, 1 of every 6 reads the description (as is safe to assume that someone with functional eyes that joins a particular giveaway will be interested to join the same giveaway... with better odds)
