Well, I only tried playing the original The Ship game after it had died, so I have no idea if this one's going to be fun. Guess you try to act like a bot and kill the other human players, while they are trying to act like a bot and kill you too? Something like that anyway? Could be fun!
Actually, Superhot looked very interesting, but I forgot about it until just now so you're getting this instead. And it seems you can't buy Superhot yet anyway, so I was out of luck from the very beginning. Need to plan this giveaway stuff better... :)

I don't think you can see a generous people thing any more, it was something on the old Steamgifts. I seem to remember a list of the last 5 completed giveaways, and the 5 most generous people this week, on the main giveaway page. And I do remember wondering when some unfamiliar name turned up in that list, hmm who is that, I should take a look... Sometimes you'd find people faking private expensive giveaways that way... :)

Been eyeing that sale myself. I don't recall Slitherine being too bundle friendly, but I might be wrong on that front. Looking at steamdb, it seems like this is a historic low for many of those games O.o.

Yeah, my uneducated guess is that's as cheap as they will ever get, maybe see them again in the Summer sale with the same discounts.
Was thinking about War in the East but it's just nostalgia at this point - I never play anything more complicated than Hearts of Iron any more. :)

I hope so too, Enhanced Steam says "29 playing now" but I don't know where it finds those numbers. Wish the official Steam client would get that stuff, wouldn't expect them to add the price comparison info but at least do something... :)

I didn't even know they were remaking The Ship. It always seemed like such a fun concept, such a shame the online multiplayer was dead. Right now this is limited to 4 player online multiplayer only, which might not give you the same experience as when you have a ship full of players.

Hopefully it won't die at all! It seems like the devs of the remake purchased the rights for the original but weren't allowed to make changes to the source code so they weren't able to fix bugs or add new content. The screenshots already seem pretty promising. Another game that is similar to The Ship is Bloody Good Time but sadly the multiplayer there is dead as well. Still, if you could get a group of friends together, it's a lot of fun.
