I got a second copy of this game that I wanted to give to a close friend, currently in a double Master of Economics and Law. I thought that would be a nice little gift for her : she's studying Law, she loves art, all cute animals are welcome. But she denied the gift with a lot of contempt. I guess some people weren't told when they were children to accept gifts and say thanks, no matter what. Oh well...

Maybe your friend is like me: i can't accept gifts from friends outside special occassions (well, i can, but it takes a lot of convincing) because i can't give anything in return and i would feel guilty.

I'm exactly like you, and we don't do real and expensive gifts, that's just leftovers of some bundles or sometimes a little bit of trading.
But she definitely accepted Tomb Raider, Epistory, and a dozain of other games :p She gave me back some things of course, it's not one-way.
It's 50/50, I can get a "Yey, thank youuu :D" or a "Ugh, no, why did you get this, I don't want that thing", which is always nice to hear. Girlz tho...
What does mean "PD" ? I know "PS" for "Post-scriptum" but not PD.
"PD" in French is an insult, short for "pédéraste", which means "gay" but usually in a hurtful way. Almost appropriate for the band and song if I may :p

But gifts are not given to expect something in return :) I never expect something in return when I gift someone. If so, here in steamgifts, my blacklist would be full of people :p

I know, but I can't avoid thinking like that. I don't mind not getting anything in return if i gift something, but i have to do at least something to thank the gifter (for example, in Steamgift i beat my wins, i like to think i make some people happy with that the way they made me happy with the game).

My brothers do the same thing, sometimes happily taking keys for games and other times scoffing at the game and thinking it's ridiculous that I think they'd enjoy it. But I know they're not ungrateful or mean at all, more finding the game ridiculous and giving their initial reactions. :P If I really want them to play a game with me though they'll always "give in" and happily play, since they can use me as an excuse for playing the weird games. This game is pretty ridiculous and VNs can be seen as weird or childish from the outside, might've been what she was thinking. haha

Oh, I didn't realize that's a Visual Novel. I'm dumb, of course, what other genre that could have been ? No lollies in this one, that's rare !
