Hi there! :)

But can be challenging too if you can't understand why the baby is crying :( but yeah! better than entertaining a hated guest !

An infant for a day is more preferable then having an unwelcome guest for a whole week.
The infant needs more attention for sure, but it does not influence the rest of your normal life so much especially if it is just for one day. The guest is more of an intruder in your personal sphere which i really dislike.

If both would be there for a week i can´t really tell if the answer would be the same.

Yeah same for me, I don't really like people staying around, especially those I don't like!

Thank you for your detailed response! Welcome to my whitelist! ;) I hope to see you around in comments zone!

Well in this case: Thank you!
And as a father of two small children it's definitely the crying infant. Either because I have that anyways ;-p or because at least this one is not being difficult on purpose and can be dealt with in some way.

Nice! Do they sometimes cry without a reason too?

Sometimes????? X-D
Of course they do, that's just plain normal. :) But to be fair, they can also crack up laughing seemingly without a reason as well. ;)

Time is valuable. Gimme the infant. Already unhappy with a house guest, but at least I don't hate them.

Ugh, neither xD But probably baby, at least it would be over quicker.

Edit: on the other hand I wouldn't change nappies on a baby, nonononono D:

I think it would be easier to tolerate a crying baby for a single day. Surely it has to sleep, so it wouldn't be crying non-stop for 24 hours. Although, as kazerniel said, nappy duty would cause concerns.

If you have a child in the future, it is an unavoidable duty I guess! :D

Guest for me. As I don't care, they can stay here, but I won't be here most of my day and anytime I can lock myself to my room.

If I don't like them, I will be honest to them. If they still need to stay here, they can, but I won't be friendly to them and play nice one host just because they are my guests.

You can punish me for the truth but nothing will change it. I won't be robot to think the same way as other people, if it is bad, then I will be bad person.

I'd rather babysit, maybe because I like kids and because I usually behave like one for fun.
Oh, and thank you :)
Not just because of the giveaway, but because there aren't many of these "games" around and they make all this more fun ^^

Thanks!

I'd much rather babysit than have to put up with someone I don't like for an entire week. At least the baby can't cry forever, it'll have to run out of tears at some point. The house guest could just be a douche the entire time though :/

LOL! Not really. I think you will feel edgy sooner, because naturally.....you will worry if something was wrong

Hey~ Thanks for contributing dude. Also, I like them giveaways bundled with a casual thoughts exchange (:

I'll take the baby like so many others. It'll tire itself out after a couple hours while I read with hearing protectors in, then it's checkup time, a couple more hours and not only are you probably a couple bucks richer, but you're done with the issue. While a hated guest situation, on the other hand might always end in lifetime incarceration, if you catch my drift ;>

Hey, thanks ;3

Whatever the perks, currently, given my in-over-their-head lifestyle, please be aware that you dun gotten whitelisted the moment I saw coherent text below your giveaways, too ;p We're too few to pass on ganging together, right? I'm always for swapping chat for half an hour, when I'm not spazzing out from stress or organizing, that is, so it's certainly a see ya. Hopefully I'm gonna get to dispatching my extra keys someday, so you can return the favor (;

Thanks! And I think I'd much rather babysit lol. It'd get tired quickly, and even if it cries all day, then that's just for a day compared to the guest staying for a whole week.

Crying babies are one of the worst thing someone can experience on earth. I am weak and physically cannot stand their cries.
But hey, I would take the unwanted house guest even over a non-crying baby.

there is no rule stating i can't hand the infant over to my mother or my oldest brother who is a father or is this cheating?
if its not cheating i pick the infant.
i actually really dislike infants and children in general but this seems like the lesser of two evils so to speak.

We should make more noise.
Loads of people dislike infants and children but I feel like the general population consider this opinion as if was a bad thing. I'm not a killer, I just don't like those living squirts.

Infant, of course. But come to think, is child in question mine, or he is an unwelcome stranger?

well ive babysat my kid aunt for a bunch of times. while shes not a baby she was a 3 now 4 year old that only wanted her damn mummy and kept crying and going WHERES MUMMY!? HOW LONG IS SHE GONNA BE!? so annoying. however ive had an unwanted house guess in my step dad when he thought he could sleep on my mums couch for no reason. so 1 day over a week is better.

It really depends on how unwanted guest behaves. This needs some subtle mental calculation and balancing to make a decent decision. Given what we have in the question I would say unwanted guest but I really am not sure. Different scenarios may reveal drastically different results.
