Description
Yeah, it’s Wednesday, & those who work may be experiencing the mid-week blues. So, I have created my own list of ten decent puzzle games, all at a great price in the Steam market. But, there’s a catch… they’re all being given away on my current giveaways on Steam Gifts, so you could potentially win one for the better price of nothing at all. All 10 are games I own myself & have played, some more than others. My rankings are based on my own playtime, achievies, & enjoyment… very scientifically. And, they all have cards.

All ten are open to everyone, with no restrictions or level requirements. As a final note, if the puzzle at #1 doesn’t get you through hump-day, you’re probably in serious need of a real vacation. I’m making the g/a’s for about 9 hours away, so they can be delivered for the afternoon doldrums. Good luck. The whole list is below. Look for them all. I will add the winner on Steam to deliver the game from my inventory.

10: Defy Gravity Extended

9: Kairo

8: Polarity

7: Waveform

6: Unium

5: Bacteria

4: Energy Cycle

3: Three Digits

2: Two Digits

1: Lyne

What a sweet reason for giveaways, Eden, and I love how they're sorted scientifically. ;)
From this list, I've only played Kairo, and it was a borderline surreal experience, but that's partly due to playing it rather late at night when the rest of the world was quiet, with windows wide open and a warm summer breeze flowing through my room. :3

Thank you, and happy Wednesday! :)

There is a Science behind emotion lol, which probably explains why I cried my way through Biology 201. But, yeah... Kairo is definitely different. On another note, your profile looks great. I love the Two Roads poem, and This War of Mine is an awesome game! It was my favorite, and probably still is, but it is definitely being challenged by the likes of Stellaris & Civ V, at least in playtime. For me, TWOM is a very surreal game played anytime of the day or night. Thanks for your comment and a happy Wednesday to you, as well.

This War of Mine exceeded my expectations. My first playthrough was downright brutal, because I knew nothing about the game and was constantly running out of time (and resources due to constant raids) and wrestling with hunger, wounds, sickness and sadness. I have a much better handle on things now, and love its addictive "just one more day" gameplay. :)

I saw below that you commented about the Portal games, so I checked to see if you had The Talos Principle. I found that game to be amazing, and would highly recommend spending some more time with it. :)

My first playthrough of TWOM resulted in the character who cheers everyone else up commuting suicide, after everyone else died. So much for happiness and cheer during war, lol. But, after that I played nonstop for about 3 days and eventually I beat every scenario and hundred percented the game in no time. Of course, I keep going back for mods and such now. It's almost an addiction for me.
Yes, Talos Principle is a lot of fun. I just don't know why I never get back to finish that. It really is a fun game. I'm shopping around for a better rig, and I guess I'm hoping to play that with better graphics eventually. I bought my current laptop for writing, and hadn't realized I'd get so into gaming. Now, I am hooked on games that I can't play like XCOM 2. I definitely need to make a choice soon, because No Man's Sky will be here in about 3 weeks. That's going to be some work. What I'd like to see is an alien puzzler :D

From your list, I only played Defy Gravity Extended, Polarity and Waveform.
Waveform I liked more than others, but Polarity is good enough (many people compare it with Portal, and in some ways they are right).

Thank you for this giveaway, have a good day <3

Wow, that's really nice of you to share your passion for puzzles! Thanks!
Out of your list, LYNE is the only one I played (I'm still missing 12 achievements), but most of the others are on my wishlist.

By the way, have you played any Hexcells game? It's a nice mix of picross and minesweeper, and the last one has an "infinite" mode.
I wonder where would you place them on your list...

I just recently got Hexcells, & haven't had a chance to try it yet. I think I got sidetracked on the Stellaris release. But, Hexcells reminded me of Wave Mechanics in the basic idea of it and it definitely looks like something I will enjoy, when I give it a spin. I still have quite a ways to go in Wave Mechanics. But, both of them are definitely games I'd say will probably rank pretty high for me. Tricone Labs is another I didn't include, simply because the price range is more prohibitive for this category. It's a ten dollar puzzler, but definitely worth every penny. It's a one of a kind masterpiece. I'd probably place that at number one above Lyne, and Hexcells & Wave Mechanics somewhere in the middle, below Three Digits. :D Then there is Strata to contend with. Too many good puzzlers!
