I don't know, slightly disappointed. People like to believe stuff that fits their narrative. I have a feeling that no one was actually convinced and the only people that flocked to the thread had their mind set in one way or another before even opening it.

Yeah, that's understandable, it did turn a bit messy. I do share your hopes, I think Steam lacked any serious motivation to improve over the past few years, we'll see how it goes :P
