This is an old key, but should still be good. I still love this silly little game...took the time to 100% it, which I will tell you ahead of time will take some work and dedication. You'll be leaving it running at night more than once to make that happen. ;) But also, I've gotten some amazing and hilarious screen shots from this thing, too.
Good luck!

Wow, that is no easy feat. I tried to 100% it for about 140h until I found out about the last achievement. From what I gathered you need around 927h of game time for the "You are god" achievement. Idling the game every time I'm not actually playing a 'real' game would take me many years.
Ignoring all that it is a cool game, esp. considering the price. Very creative, too. Would make for a great screensaver.

It doesn't take that long, really. I just let it idle when I was asleep or not home (twice even because it bugged out the first time).

Yeah, but I',m not going to let my PC run over night or while I'm at work just to get an achievement. Electricity is quite expensive these days.
So if I'm limited to the hours I'm at home AND not using Steam myself this will take forever.

Makes sense. I was using a relatively low power laptop at the time, so I hardly noticed :)

You can use plug for that.

You can run multple Steam games at the same time (if your PC is up to it of course).

Was not aware of that. Thought it would work the same as with ASF where it logs out your idling session when you start a game on Steam.

I don't use ASF, so I can't say why it does that. But I have often ran 2 or 3 demos simultaneously (to complete those Gleam "play this game for 30 minutes" tasks) and all of them have accumulated play time in parallel.

I do, indeed, have >1,000 hours in that game. Honestly, I didn't remember it being that long. I don't think that I leveraged any system clock shenanigans or anything. I must've just fired it up at night every night for quite some time.
But also this is why it's in my showcase of completed games. :D

As it very well should be!
Also, you not remembering the 1000+ hours you put into this game is wild. 😁
I took the liberty to check you out on Playtime Panorama to see if it's your most played game. Not by a long shot, lol. I had never even heard of the 1st placed game before.

Oh, Marvel Puzzle Quest? I'm an OG player. And a commander in an alliance. I've been playing well over a decade. It's my nightly casual game that I play for a bit while watching TV or a movie.
I only found it because I played the original Puzzle Quest on Steam, and beat it. Then they released the Marvel version, and of course it's more modern and has microtransactions and such, but I don't spend any money on that. Grind long enough and you can be pretty OP. :D

You can use plug for that. I used it to clear the achievements, and it worked fine.
